Page of Thanks

There are many people who have helped get me to this point...too many to fit here, so I hope to hit the highlights.

First my mother Lynda and my father William. You two have provided me with so much financially and emotionally. You two taught me how to work and how to dream. But more than that you two have given me a blueprint for a lasting and loving partnership for which I am truly grateful and constantly inspired by. Thank you. And to the rest of my family your endless support has been invaluable.

To Dr. Marcella McCoy-Deh, the director of the honors program at Philadelphia University. Your suggestion at the start of the Spring 2011 semester started this whole wild and crazy journey. Your guidance and the campus Fulbright committee's assistance throughout this entire process have been greatly appreciated. I literally would not be writing this blog if it weren't for you and all your brilliant ideas.

To my academic and research advisor Dr. Jeffrey Ashley...there are no words. You put up with and worked with me for four years always providing me with sage advice and counsel and always with a smile on your face. How you did it was beyond me, but the impression you have had on my career path can't be stated.

To Dr. Diana Cundell the pre-med advisor at PhilaU I want to personally thank you for working with me to shape my last two years at PhilaU and get me ready to pursue a medical career.

To the rest of the faculty and staff including but not limited to Dr. Milkevitch, Professor Kimmelman, Professor Sorkin, Professor Tulante, Dr. MacLean, Dr. Rao, and Madame Ferradji. You have all stood out during my career at PhilaU and I want to take this opportunity to thank you for all you have provided me.

And to my friends in Philadelphia and beyond, you guys kept me sane (or close to it) during the long hours and stress of school. I am truly blessed to have met you and be able to call you my friends. Your friendship means so much.

Lastly to the Fulbright Commission of Vietnam - thanks for the opportunity of a lifetime, I can't wait to get to work!

  1. I definitely am going to miss those insane study times before tests, heck I mean all the time even if we didn't have a test.
